St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees (Newark, NJ) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Brooklyn Collegiate (Brooklyn, NY), 64-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Benedict's Prep upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Gray Bees host St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, NJ) to clash with the Marauders in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Marauders go into the bout with a record of 10-0. St. Peter's Prep won 68-25 in their recent league bout against Dickinson (Jersey City, NJ)

Next up, the clash with the Canarsie Chiefs (Brooklyn, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Brooklyn Collegiate will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 64-59 non-league win over Central (Newark, NJ).
