In Sunday's non-league outing, the Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Curtis Warriors (Staten Island, NY), by a margin of 71-41.
The Minutemen (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Roselle Catholic (Roselle, NJ). The Lions go into the Union County - Valley outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, Roselle Catholic was trounced by New Providence (New Providence, NJ), 59-35, in a league outing.
The Warriors now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Laguardia for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 9. Curtis will clash with a squad coming off a 70-16 non-league loss to Wagner (Staten Island, NY). The record now stands at 3-4.
