McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Paul VI Eagles (Haddonfield, NJ), 69-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McDonogh upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to St. Mary's (Annapolis, MD) to clash with the Saints in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 13-5. St. Mary's won 63-32 in their recent league bout against Roland Park Country (Baltimore, MD)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Camden Catholic Fighting Irish (Cherry Hill, NJ) in a Olympic - National bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Paul VI will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record.
