In Tuesday's non-league test, the Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL), by a score of 70-47.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Largo Packers (Largo, FL) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 10. Mitchell will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Packers come into the test with a 2-13 record after their 70-52 non-league loss to Leto (Tampa, FL).
