The Riverview Pirates basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Anderson Titans to 53 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Huron for a Huron game on Friday, January 10. Riverview will play a Chiefs team coming off a 62-45 non-league win over Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Anderson falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI) to play the Thunderbirds in a Downriver game on Thursday, January 9. The Thunderbirds go into the game with a record of 3-7. Edsel Ford lost 56-31 in their recent non-league game against Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI)
