Louisiana High School Basketball - South Lafourche routs Ascension Catholic

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting South Lafourche Tarpons basketball team scored a big 72-45 triumph over the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs.
The Tarpons (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pearl River (Pearl River, LA). The Rebels go into the non-league contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Pearl River was trounced by Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA), 75-59, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Ascension Catholic will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 57-47 non-league loss to GEO Next Generation (Baton Rouge, LA).
