The Asheville Christian Academy Lions nipped the visiting Calvary Day School Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 71-70 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
Next, the Lions clash with the Christ School Greenies (Arden, NC) in a NCISAA Carolinas outing, on Thursday, January 9. Asheville Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Greenies enter the outing with a 13-0 record after their 59-38 league win over Carolina Day (Asheville, NC).
The Cougars (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Trojans enter the NCISAA Piedmont outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Wesleyan Christian Academy got by Grace Christian (Sanford, NC), 68-50, in a non-league outing.
