The Belle Plaine Plainsmen basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks to 43 in the Plainsmen league triumph on Tuesday.

The Plainsmen now possess a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Montezuma for a South Iowa Cedar game on Friday, January 10.

With the loss, Colfax-Mingo falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Tigerhawks host Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 3-4. Pleasantville lost 60-36 in their recent non-league game against Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA)
