Next, the Mules encounter the Advance Hornets (Advance, MO) in a Stoddard County test, on Thursday, January 9. Bernie will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 2-6 record after their 59-42 non-league loss to Chaffee (Chaffee, MO).

The Reindeer (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Gideon (Gideon, MO). The Bulldogs come into the Tri-County - Southeast test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Gideon was routed by Twin Rivers (Broseley, MO), 70-55, in a non-league test.
