In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Bishop Guertin Cardinals basketball team scored a close 61-56 win over the Trinity Pioneers.

The Cardinals (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Spaulding (Rochester, NH). The Red Raiders come into the Division I contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Spaulding was tipped by Londonderry (Londonderry, NH), 59-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Nashua South Purple Panthers (Nashua, NH) in a Division I contest, on Friday, January 10. Trinity will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Purple Panthers come into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 55-45 league win over Alvirne (Hudson, NH).
