New York High School Basketball - Western New York Maritime Charter can't hold off Burgard

Burgard Bulldogs (Buffalo, NY) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Western New York Maritime Charter Commodores (Buffalo, NY), 63-58 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Burgard advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Olmsted (Buffalo, NY) to face the Owls in a Section 6 Buffalo II match on Thursday, January 9. The Owls enter the match with a record of 1-1. Olmsted lost 57-55 in their recent non-league match against Holland (Holland, NY)
The Commodores now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grand Island for a non-league match on Thursday, January 9.
