In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Capitol Lions basketball team scored a close 59-57 triumph over the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons.
The Lions (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 10-17 record. In their last contest, Glen Oaks was tipped by South Plaquemines (Buras, LA), 61-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. St. Thomas Aquinas will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record.
