Texas High School Basketball - Chapin routs Riverside

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Chapin Huskies basketball team scored a big 91-41 triumph over the Riverside Rangers.
The Huskies (21-1) will now prepare for their contest against Canutillo (Canutillo, TX). The Eagles go into the 5A Region I District 1 contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Canutillo smashed Fabens (Fabens, TX), 46-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rangers confront the Clint Lions (Clint, TX) in a 4A Region I District 2 contest, on Friday, January 10. Riverside will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 1-14 record after their 53-48 non-league loss to Jefferson (El Paso, TX).
