Iowa High School Basketball - Chariton holds off Interstate 35

The Chariton Chargers basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Interstate 35 Roadrunners to 60 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chargers now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Chariton will confront a Comets team coming off a 80-37 non-league loss to Albia (Albia, IA). The Comets record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Interstate 35 falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Roadrunners travel to Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA) to confront the Trojans in a West Central game on Friday, January 10. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 3-4.
