Mississippi High School Basketball - Choctaw County thwarts Union

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS) and the host Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS), observed Choctaw County's basketball team knock off Union by a score of 57-42.
The Chargers (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against West Lowndes (Columbus, MS). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-8 record.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Sebastopol Bobcats (Sebastopol, MS) in a 2A Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Union will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record.
