The Rams (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Portland (Portland, ME). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Portland prevailed over Bangor (Bangor, ME), 49-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) in a AA South challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Sanford will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 52-46 non-league win over Edward Little (Auburn, ME).
