South Dakota High School Basketball - Dupree thwarts Jones County

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Dupree Tigers (Dupree, SD) and the visiting Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD), observed Dupree's basketball team knock off Jones County by a score of 60-42.
The Tigers (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Little Wound (Kyle, SD). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Little Wound was knocked off by Mahpiya Luta (Pine Ridge, SD), 69-46, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Coyotes encounter the Philip Scotties (Philip, SD) in a B Region 7 challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Jones County will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Scotties come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 58-51 non-league loss to Harding County (Buffalo, SD).
