The East Tech Scarabs basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting John Hay to 50 in the Scarabs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Scarabs now have a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to John Adams for a Senate game on Friday, January 10. East Tech will confront a Rebels team coming off a 94-30 league loss to Glenville (Cleveland, OH). The Rebels record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, John Hay falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The host Collinwood (Cleveland, OH) to confront the Railroaders in a Senate game on Friday, January 10. The Railroaders go into the game with a record of 3-7. Collinwood lost 77-53 in their recent non-league game against Riverside (Painesville, OH)
