The Freire Charter Dragon basketball team scored 32 points and limited the host Martin Luther King Cougars to 26 in the Dragon non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Dragon now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Parkway Center City for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9.

With the loss, Martin Luther King falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to MAST Community Charter (Philadelphia, PA) to play the Panthers in a Bicentennial game on Thursday, January 9. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 5-4. MAST Community Charter won 63-38 in their recent league game against Jenkintown (Jenkintown, PA)
