In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Gordon Longhorns basketball team scored a big 84-40 triumph over the Mineral Wells Rams.
The Longhorns (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Strawn (Strawn, TX). The Greyhounds go into the 1A Region II District 13 contest with a 3-7 record.
In their next game, the Rams confront the Glen Rose Tigers (Glen Rose, TX) in a 4A Region I District 6 contest, on Saturday, January 11. Mineral Wells will attempt to better on its 4-18 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 17-6 record after their 52-46 non-league loss to La Vega (Waco, TX).
