The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Summit Storm (Bend, OR) and the host Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR), observed Summit's basketball team overcome Grants Pass by a score of 72-58.

The Storm (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cascade (Turner, OR). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Cascade defeated Springfield (Springfield, OR), 81-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cavemen battle the South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR) in a 6A Southwest challenge, on Friday, January 10. Grants Pass will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record.
