The Eagles (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Jasper County (Monticello, GA). The Hurricanes come into the A D1 Region 4 challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Jasper County trounced Southwest Atlanta Christian (Atlanta, GA), 51-48, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the W D Mohammed Caliphs (Atlanta, GA) in a A D1 Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Lamar County will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Caliphs come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 74-35 league win over Utopian Academy for the Arts (Ellenwood, GA).
