The Parkston Trojans basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Hanson Beavers to 39 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Miller for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Parkston will play a Rustlers team coming off a 51-46 league win over Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Rustlers record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Hanson falls to 5-1 on the campaign. The Beavers host Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9.
