The Lowell Devils (Lowell, OR) basketball edged the visiting Illinois Valley Cougars (Cave Junction, OR), 57-52 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Devils now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Creswell for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. Lowell will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 87-15 non-league win over Glide (Glide, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Illinois Valley falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 0-11. Brookings-Harbor lost 34-28 in their recent non-league bout against Coquille (Coquille, OR)
