The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Laurens Academy Crusaders (Laurens, SC) and the host King Academy Knights (Batesburg, SC), observed Laurens Academy's basketball team overwhelm King Academy by a score of 43-19.

The Crusaders (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Easley HomeSchool (Easley, SC). The Guardians come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Easley HomeSchool was routed by Providence Athletic Club (Columbia, SC), 65-52, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Richard Winn Academy Eagles (Winnsboro, SC) in a SCISA 1A Region III challenge, on Thursday, January 9. King Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 68-55 league win over Wardlaw Academy (Johnston, SC).
