In Tuesday's league contest, the host Milford Spartans basketball team scored a close 30-29 win over the Lebanon Raiders.
The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH). The The Pride come into the Division II contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Merrimack Valley edged Bishop Brady (Concord, NH), 69-37, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Oyster River Bobcats (Durham, NH) in a Division II contest, on Friday, January 10. Lebanon will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Bobcats come into the contest with a 5-0 record after their 64-53 non-league win over Timberlane (Plaistow, NH).
