In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Lennox Orioles basketball team scored a big 72-42 triumph over the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers.
The Orioles (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Groton (Groton, SD). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Groton smashed Warner (Warner, SD), 63-24, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Black Panthers confront the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars (Corsica, SD) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Platte/Geddes will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Jaguars go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 60-48 non-league win over Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD).
