Illinois High School Basketball - Marmion triumphant over Marquette

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL) and the host Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL), observed Marmion's basketball team overwhelm Marquette by a score of 70-43.
The Cadets (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL). The Chargers come into the Chicago Catholic - White challenge with a 2-14 record. In their last challenge, Aurora Central Catholic trounced Westminster Christian (Elgin, IL), 74-38, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Crusaders encounter the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) in a Tri-County challenge, on Friday, January 10. Marquette will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record.
