The Merritt Oilers basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Navajo Indians to 27 in the Oilers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Oilers now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Turpin for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. Merritt will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 57-25 league loss to Hooker (Hooker, OK). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Navajo falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Fletcher (Fletcher, OK) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 5-9.
