In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Pine Raiders basketball team scored a good 46-37 triumph over the St. Martin's Episcopal Saints.
The Raiders (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Plaquemines (Buras, LA). The Hurricanes go into the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, South Plaquemines was toppled by Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA), 87-28, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Saints confront the East Iberville Tigers (St. Gabriel, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. St. Martin's Episcopal will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 20-14 record after their 51-14 non-league win over Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA).
