Ohio High School Basketball - Riverdale can't hold off Ridgemont

The Ridgemont Golden Gophers nipped the host Riverdale Falcons basketball squad by a final score of 43-40 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Golden Gophers face the Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) in a Northwest Central outing, on Friday, January 10. Ridgemont will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Comets enter the outing with a 2-8 record after their 60-44 non-league loss to Tree of Life Christian (Columbus, OH).

The Falcons (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Arlington (Arlington, OH). The Red Devils enter the Blanchard Valley outing with a 10-0 record. In their last outing, Arlington got by McComb (McComb, OH), 68-8, in a league outing.
