The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the San Jacinto Leadership Academy Lions (San Jacinto, CA) and the visiting River Springs Lions (Hemet, CA), observed San Jacinto Leadership Academy's basketball team overwhelm River Springs by a score of 82-11.

The Lions (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Nuview Bridge (Nuevo, CA). The Knights come into the South Valley challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Nuview Bridge was routed by California Military Institute (Perris, CA), 47-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions encounter the Loma Linda Academy Roadrunners (Loma Linda, CA) in a Tri-County Premier challenge, on Thursday, January 9. River Springs will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 64-41 league win over Mesa Grande Academy (Calimesa, CA).
