In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Vandebilt Catholic Terriers basketball team scored a big 87-28 triumph over the South Plaquemines Hurricanes.
The Terriers (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Patterson (Patterson, LA). The Lumberjacks go into the non-league contest with a 6-20 record.
In their next game, the Hurricanes confront the Pine Raiders (Franklinton, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. South Plaquemines will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 46-37 non-league win over St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA).
