The St. Pius X Sartans nipped the visiting Albuquerque Academy Chargers basketball squad by a final score of 36-35 in Tuesday's non-league contest.
The Sartans (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Jaguars come into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 53-14 non-league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM).
