The Venture Academy Mustangs basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Ripon Indians to 40 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bear Creek for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Venture Academy will play a Bruins team coming off a 56-54 non-league win over Atwater (Atwater, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Ripon falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Indians host Hughson (Hughson, CA) to play the Huskies in a game on Wednesday, January 8. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 0-4. Hughson lost 48-22 in their recent non-league game against Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA)
