With the victory, Academy for Academic Excellence advances its record to 5-8 on the year. The Knights host Big Bear (Big Bear City, CA) to meet the Bears in a Cross Valley battle on Friday, January 10. The Bears enter the battle with a record of 1-15.

The Rockets now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Packinghouse Christian Academy for a Majestic battle on Tuesday, January 14. Norton Science & Language Academy will meet a Bears squad coming off a 54-17 league win over Calvary Baptist (La Verne, CA). The Bears record now stands at 9-4.
