The Bluejacket Chieftains basketball squad (Bluejacket, OK), was nudged 39-33 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Afton Eagles (Afton, OK)

With the victory, Afton advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Caney Valley (Ramona, OK) to meet the Trojans in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 9. The Trojans enter the test with a record of 5-3. Caney Valley won 57-25 in their recent league test against Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK)

The Chieftains (0-11) will now prepare for their test against Welch (Welch, OK). The Wildcats come into the Lucky Seven test with a 7-1 record.
