In Tuesday's league contest, the host Colonie Central Raiders basketball team scored a close 61-55 triumph over the Bethlehem Central Eagles.
The Raiders (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY). The Silver Warriors go into the Section 2 Suburban contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Niskayuna nipped Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY), 74-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban contest, on Friday, January 10. Bethlehem Central will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Scotties go into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 86-34 league loss to Shaker (Latham, NY).
