The Calvert Senecas (Tiffin, OH) basketball were winner over the visiting Vanlue Wildcats (Vanlue, OH), 60-43 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Senecas now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Danbury for a Sandusky Bay - River bout on Thursday, January 9. Calvert will play a Lakers team coming off a 53-42 league win over Woodmore (Elmore, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Vanlue falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Crestline (Crestline, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Crestline lost 53-19 in their recent league bout against Lucas (Lucas, OH)
