In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Norwell Knights basketball team scored a good 71-61 triumph over the Carroll Chargers.
The Knights (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Leo (Leo, IN). The Lions go into the Northeast 8 contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Leo topped Prairie Heights (LaGrange, IN), 51-39, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Columbia City Eagles (Columbia City, IN) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Carroll will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 13-3 record after their 66-60 non-league win over Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis, IN).
