The Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI) basketball were winner over the visiting Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), 49-36 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host East Greenwich for a Division II bout on Friday, January 10. Scituate will play a Avengers team coming off a 52-33 league loss to Tiverton (Tiverton, RI). The Avengers record now stands at 2-4.
