In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting DeKalb Barbs basketball team scored a good 39-31 triumph over the Oswego Panthers.
The Barbs (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats go into the DuPage Valley contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Neuqua Valley was toppled by Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 62-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Oswego will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Tomcats go into the contest with a 2-15 record after their 69-50 non-league loss to Romeoville (Romeoville, IL).
