The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the East Beauregard Trojans (DeRidder, LA) and the host Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA), observed East Beauregard's basketball team overwhelm Welsh by a margin of 67-25.

The Trojans (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Merryville (Merryville, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Merryville was trounced by Many (Many, LA), 54-52, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Johnson Bayou Rebels (Cameron, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Welsh will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 50-22 non-league win over DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA).
