In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Holmen Vikings basketball team scored a close 64-58 triumph over the Eau Claire North Huskies.
The Vikings (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against La Crosse Logan (La Crosse, WI). The Rangers enter the Mississippi Valley battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, La Crosse Logan was nudged by Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI), 58-52, in a non-league battle.
The Huskies now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chippewa Falls for a Big Rivers battle on Friday, January 10. Eau Claire North will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 58-52 non-league win over La Crosse Logan (La Crosse, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-9.
