The Green Mountain Chieftains defeated the host Mill River Minutemen basketball squad by a final score of 43-25 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
Next, the Chieftains clash with the Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave (Rutland, VT) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, January 9. Green Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Green Wave come into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 37-31 league win over Sharon Academy (Sharon, VT).
The Minutemen (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Vergennes (Vergennes, VT). The Commodores come into the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Vergennes overcame Northfield (Northfield, VT), 81-12, in a non-league outing.
