In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Morgan City Tigers basketball team scored a close 45-44 triumph over the Houma Christian Warriors.
The Tigers (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Comeaux (Lafayette, LA). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Comeaux was tipped by Abbeville (Abbeville, LA), 50-14, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Grand Isle Trojans (Grand Isle, LA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Houma Christian will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 44-24 non-league loss to Fisher (Lafitte, LA).
