The Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA) basketball were winner over the visiting Jena Giants (Jena, LA), 61-44 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 18-4 record. They play next when they travel to LaSalle for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. Plainview will play a Tigers team coming off a 53-14 non-league win over Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Jena falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Giants travel to Tioga (Tioga, LA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 13-6.
