Ohio High School Basketball - Johnstown-Monroe victorious over Watkins Memorial

January 7, 2025: Johnstown, OH 43031

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies basketball team scored a good 51-32 triumph over the Watkins Memorial Warriors.

The Johnnies (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northridge (Johnstown, OH). The Vikings go into the Licking County - Cardinal contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Northridge was topped by Granville (Granville, OH), 56-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors confront the Licking Heights Hornets (Pataskala, OH) in a Licking County - Buckeye challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Watkins Memorial will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 61-55 non-league win over Utica (Utica, OH).
