The Storm Lake Tornadoes basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Kingsley-Pierson Panthers to 46 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tornadoes now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Le Mars for a non-league game on Friday, January 10.

With the loss, Kingsley-Pierson falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host St. Mary's (Remsen, IA) to confront the Hawks in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 3-4. St. Mary's lost 39-38 in their recent non-league game against Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA)
