The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Sangamon Valley/Tri-City Storm to 22 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Teresa for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. Maroa-Forsyth will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-26 non-league loss to Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Sangamon Valley/Tri-City falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Edinburg/South Fork (Kincaid, IL) to confront the Ponies in a Freelance game on Tuesday, January 14. The Ponies go into the game with a record of 10-7.
